The Bomet County Assembly Service Board (CASB) is established pursuant to section 12 (1) of the County Governments Act 2012 as a corporate body with perpetual succession. It has five members: Honourable Speaker of the Assembly as the chairperson; Leader of Majority as the vice-chairperson, the County Assembly Clerk as the Secretary, and Leader of Minority as member and one other member who is a resident in the county appointed by the County Assembly from among persons who have knowledge and experience in public affairs, but who is not a member of the County Assembly.
