PERFORMANCE CONTRACT SIGNING BY STAFF

STAFF Assistant Director, Research and Library Services Mr. Timothy Korir (R) receives signed performance contract document from Titus Rono, Research officer.

The Bomet County Assembly Service Board presided over the signing of a performance contract by staff in the lower cadre. This comes after the initial signing by the Clerk, Deputy Clerk, directors and head of departments last week.

Speaking during the ceremony, the speaker of the Assembly Hon. Cosmas Korir said that the performance management tool plays a critical role in staff career growth. He said the signing of the contract marked the beginning of result-oriented service delivery.

County Assembly service board member Mr. Jonathan Soi commended the work done by the Perfomance Management steering committee in realizing that the whole process was a success. He encouraged the staff to work wholeheartedly in delivering service to Bomet county residents. He also mentioned that the performance management tool plays a critical role in staff personal growth and in delivering service to Bomet County residents.

Present during the ceremony was Hon. Juliana Yegon, County assembly service board member added that the performance management tool helps in tracking the productivity of an individual and department as a whole.
